Iva Nell Onan Lane Rogers, 84, of Sulphur Springs, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 30, 2013, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Donnie Lane officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mrs. Rogers was born March 9, 1929, in Duke, Oklahoma to Iva and J. Herbert Onan. She raised her family in Amarillo. She was a homemaker, a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She loved to cook, sew and most of all, play with her grandchildren. She attended Bushland Baptist until she moved to Fritch in 2001 where she attended The Fritch Church of Christ with her second husband.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William “Bill” E. Lane.
Survivors include two daughters, Karon Lane-Baker-Goodson and husband Jerry and Debra Nell Allen and husband Pat, all of Sulphur Springs; a son, Barry E. Lane and Sandy of Amarillo; a granddaughter, Tempe Shelton; six grandsons, Mike Baker, Cory Baker, Dallas Kirby, Justin Kirby, Brandon Lane and Aaron Lane; 7 great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles David Onan of Duke, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.
