Teodoro“Ted” Campos, 59, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, at Trinity Fellowship Church West Auditorium with Ralph Vasquez, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Ted was born Dec. 27, 1953, in Eagle Pass to Baldomero and Nieves Campos. He was a resident of Canyon for 25 years. Ted worked for various law enforcement agencies including Hereford Police Department in 1982, and in Special Crimes for Randall County Sheriff’s Office before opening Ted Campos Investigations in 2001.
He attended Trinity Fellowship Church and volunteered with Special Olympics and Panhandle Cancer Cure Foundation.
Ted’s proudest accomplishments were his children.
Survivors include his wife, Maria G. Lopez, Esq. of Amarillo; three daughters, Genevieve Campos and Jennifer Campos, both of Canyon, and Jessica Hernandez of Austin; two sons, Kristofer Campos and wife Alex of Amarillo and Justin Campos of Houston; five grandchildren, Autry, Trevor, Marcus, Lilianna and Adrian; his brother, Baldomero Campos, Jr. of Hereford; two sisters, Andrea Campos and Mary Estella Campos-Lopez, both of Hereford; seven half-brothers; three stepchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
